How can you help?

There are a number of ways that you can help us at the Friends.

You can become a member, make a one-time donation, and/or volunteer and participate in our projects.

Become a Member!

Why join?
By joining us at the Friends of Elk Island Society you will support research and conservation that the we fund within Elk Island National Park and the Beaver Hills area. Some of the projects include the late "Mesocarnivore Monitoring" and our new 2016/2017 project monitoring ungulate populations!

Paid up members receive special invitations to volunteer and are invited to attend and vote at the Society's Annual General Meeting (AGM). Members also receive copies of "The Trumpeter" newsletter via email, where we share updates about what we have been up to and other cool nature news!

How can I become a member?
Becoming a member of the society is easy. We have four levels of membership:
  • Individual $15
  • Family $25
  • Corporate $50
  • Sponsor $150
You can purchase your membership online using PayPal, by sending a cheque to the Society's address, or in person at any Friends event.

Volunteer and participate!
Join us in our events and projects throughout the year. Our Meetup page is the most up-to-date place to find out what we have coming up, and what we have been up to in the past. Check it out here.
