There are a number of ways that you can help us at the Friends. 

You can become a member, make a one-time donation, and/or volunteer and participate in our projects.

Why join?

By joining us at the Friends of Elk Island Society you will support research and conservation that the we fund within Elk Island National Park and the Beaver Hills Biosphere. Some of the projects include the annual Christmas Bird Count, amphibian monitoring every spring, annual beaver lodge monitoring, native plants beds at the Visitors Centre, weed pulls and other conservation activities, guided hikes and other outdoor activities. Paid members receive special invitations to volunteer and are invited to attend and vote at the Society's Annual General Meeting (AGM). 

How can I become a member?

Becoming a member of the society is easy. We have four levels of membership (memberships are billed annually):
